Jun Zhang (Fellow, IEEE), obtained his PhD degree in Electrical Engineering from the City University of Hong Kong in 2002.

    Prof. Jun Zhang's research contributions span over 300 peer-reviewed publications, of which more than 200 appear in IEEE Transactions. His research interests include Computational Intelligence, and Power Electronic Circuits. Professor Zhang was a recipient of the China National Funds for Distinguished Young Scientists from the National Natural Science Foundation of China in 2011, and was appointed as a Cheung Kong Chair Professor in 2013 by the Ministry of Education, China. Presently, Prof. Zhang serves as an associate editor for both the IEEE Transactions on Artificial Intelligence and the IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics.
